Research, evaluate, and write the destination and property content that powers The Approved List. You'll produce briefs, teardowns, and seasonal recommendations that help our members make confident travel decisions, grounded in first-hand knowledge and rigorous editorial standards.
What you'll do
- Research and write destination briefs covering logistics, seasonal timing, and standout experiences.
- Produce property teardowns: honest, detailed evaluations of hotels, resorts, and rental properties.
- Write seasonal recommendation roundups aligned with the editorial calendar.
- Maintain and update existing content as properties and destinations evolve.
- Collaborate with the editor on pitches, angles, and coverage gaps.
What you'll bring
- 3+ years writing about travel, hospitality, or luxury lifestyle: published clips required.
- First-hand knowledge of premium travel destinations and properties.
- Sharp research instincts: you verify claims, cross-reference sources, and notice when something doesn't add up.
- Ability to write clean, opinionated prose on deadline.
- Comfort working independently within an editorial framework.
Nice to have
- Existing portfolio of destination or property reviews.
- Background in travel advisory, concierge, or hospitality operations.
- Familiarity with the Approved Experiences brand voice and membership audience.
